About Igihozo

Igihozo Association (APVV-IGIHOZO) is a non-profit organization based in Kigali, Rwanda. It was created to help people living with HIV/AIDS and orphans in need. The association works mainly in Muhanga District, supporting vulnerable children, helping people living with HIV, and teaching communities about HIV prevention. Igihozo also helps orphans and vulnerable families to become self-reliant through education and training. The association has 320 members and works with other organizations and the government to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Background

In accordance with the law Nº20/2000 of 26/07/2000 relating to Associations without lucrative goals it create an Association without lucrative goals called The APVVI carries on its activities on all extent of the Republic of RWANDA It can undertake and realize activities of co-operation at the regional and international level.
Legal status is hereby granted to the association « APVV-IGIHOZO » that is situated at Kigali City.
